Here is a list of the websites, web applications and other web based projects made by me.

Munin Exchange plugin catalog (2010)

Description: Munin Exchange is a plugin repository for Munin network resource monitoring tool.

Features:

• Written in Python using Django framework
• Built and powered by multiple reusable Django applications (rpx-plus, assets, taxonomy, dajax, notifications, ratings, piston, johnny-cache, ...)
• Uses Celery task queue for running blocking and expensive tasks asynchronously in background
• Plugin submission, rating, commenting, etc.
• Basic plugin versioning system
• RSS feed for plugins and plugin versions
• Notifications about new plugin submissions are sent to Twitter
• Exposes basic REST API

Stargate Resistance Stats (2010)

Description: Stargate Resistance PC game fan site with player statistics, rankings, server list, news, articles and polls.

Features:

• Written in Python and powered by ponies with magical powers
• First version was running on Google App Engine, but later moved to a private server, because of some of the Google App Engine limitations (still an awesome platform to develop and deploy web apps on!)
• Fetches, displays and parses players statistics and achievements from Stargate Resistance servers
• Because of the schema-less design, a pretty big data set and faster historical data analysis, player related data is stored in MongoDB collections
• Includes Python script which uses PIL to generate dynamic player signatures (small images which users can use to display their stats and achievements on other websites)
• Each signature image template includes a special config file which makes adding a new signature template very easy
• Initially running on Tornado web server, but later moved to a more conventional Apache + mod_wsgi web stack, because of some strange problems with Tornado not setting cookies at random intervals

Is DNS cache flushed? (2010)

Description: A web service for checking if your hostname or domain name is pointing to the correct address.

Features:

• Written in Python and powered by ponies with magical powers
• Interfaces with client / tool written in Python which processes the DNS requests
• For better performance and faster response times, DNS requests are automatically (if needed) dispatched to multiple DNS clients

Description: A free and open source blogging platform built using the CodeIgniter PHP framework and released under the GPL v3 license.

Description: A script for organizing the virtual army in the game of Erepublik.

Description: A complex script and automatization tool written for a popular online game named Erepublik.

Xnova - bug fixes and improvements (2008)

Description: A text-based, resource-management and space-war themed massively multiplayer online browser game similar to Ogame made by Esgame team.

• Fixed over 600 bugs and security holes from the original release (the original release from Esgame was very bugy and had countless security holes)
